Born in March 1991, the seniors of Mount Zion and the community have cherished this unique ministry. The trustee board of Mount Zion founded this ministry. However, the Christian Education Board oversees and guides this most viable group of seniors. They share three times a week for fellowship, worship, bible study, prayer, testifying, games, arts, crafts, trips and fine dining. Every Wednesday, Reverend Claude Shuford teaches the Word to the seniors and it is a magnificent study.
